A Million Smiles Finale Week
The two year A Million Smiles campaign that we have been running with TUI UK & Ireland came to a very successful conclusion in May reaching £1,003,918.84. We held a few events over the end of the campaign to celebrate and honour all of the TUI staff who were central to the campaign’s success.
On Monday 15th May we organised ‘A Million Smiles Finale Evening’ for 70 people to attend the musical, An American in Paris in London. We also had a private room in the theatre before the performance for drinks and speeches of thanks from Jeremy Ellis, Marketing & Customer Experience Director of TUI and Alison Rice, our chair. This was all given to us free of charge by the theatre. We wanted to ensure we could invite staff from around the UK so Giles put us in contact with the Copthorne Tara Hotel who could offer heavily discounted rooms for the night. The feedback from the evening was overwhelmingly positive.
Also during the finale week we attended the Town Hall meeting at TUI Wigmore Head Offices where Jeremy announced the result to all staff and the thank you video that we made together was shown for the first time. As part of the campaign finale we created a thank you e-booklet that we shared with TUI staff as you can see below covering the A Million Smiles result, the campaign story and a few fun (and fundraising!) events that took place.
