The Family Holiday Association and CLIA UK & Ireland have partnered to bring hope and happiness to families facing life’s toughest challenges.
Working with CLIA and its members, the aim is to raise enough funds to enable an additional 250 families to access a precious day out at the seaside or local tourist attraction.
The benefits of a simple day out for families dealing with some of life’s toughest challenges are remarkable. It gives families a break from their daily struggles and the chance to create happy memories that they can draw on when times are tough. Read about Sophie’s story here.
Andy Harmer, Director of CLIA UK & Ireland says:
“We are delighted to be partnering up with the Family Holiday Association over the coming year. We are excited to help promote their valuable work and enable more struggling families the chance to spend quality time together and create lifelong memories.”
Angie Watson, Fundraising and Comms Manager at the Family Holiday Association said:
“We are absolutely thrilled to be partnering up with CLIA; we share an understanding of the importance and value of breaks away from home and the positive and long-lasting impact they have on families’ lives. We are excited to work together over the coming year and spread a little sunshine to those who need it most.”
It costs just £50 to send a family of four on a day out together. It’s a small price to pay for a day of respite for children and their families; for the chance to create cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
