Join us on the high seas for a day of sailing

Our popular annual regatta is a great day of sailing on the Solent with a bit of healthy competition thrown in! Hosted by Family Holiday Association President Peter Long and ABTA Lifeline Chair Derek Jones, it’s also the perfect opportunity for team building or to entertain clients – not to mention win the coveted trophy!

Programme for the day*

08.30 Arrive at Port Solent Marina, welcome from Sunsail representative and hot breakfast rolls. Introduced to your very own Skipper and First Mate. Tickets for the Regatta Raffle will also be on sale
09.30 Make your way with your team, skipper and first mate to your yacht where there will be a full safety briefing and yacht familiarisation before heading out into the Solent
10.55 The first of up to four races commences, with time out for a lovely packed lunch onboard
16.30 Head back inshore to Port Solent Marina
17.00 Disembark and enjoy afternoon tea, cake and a glass of fizz in Wildwood. A prize giving will be held for the winning crews and, more importantly, the raffle will be drawn!
18.00 Teams depart at leisure

Included on the day

  • Teams of up to 10 sailors
  • Open to all abilities
  • Skipper and First Mate provided for each boat
  • Breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea
  • A full day sailing on the Solent

All the above for only £1,950 + VAT per yacht.

ABTA Lifeline is set up to help colleagues in the travel industry when they need it most – from wheelchairs or emergency repair to helping with essential daily living costs such as food and utility bills.
