Royal Parks Half Marathon
Take part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon as part of Team Starfish
Having been described as “the most beautiful city run, in the world’s greatest city”, the Royal Parks Half Marathon shouldn’t disappoint! The 13.1 mile route takes in famous landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye and the Royal Albert Hall. So you can enjoy some sightseeing while taking part in this hugely popular challenge!
As well as the race, the day includes a free food and fitness festival in Hyde Park – the course start/finish location – so is a great place to head with your supporters when you complete the run.
Registrations for the 2020 event are now closed, but we are taking applications for 2021.
If you would like to take part in the 2021 event, please complete this short online form.
Why run the Royal Parks Half Marathon for the Family Holiday Association?
As a Family Holiday Association runner, you will receive support from us throughout the lead up to the event, as well as the following benefits:
- a place in one of London’s most popular half marathons
- a personalised charity running vest or tech top to wear on the day
- free charity t-shirts for you and your supporters
- fundraising tips and ideas, and promotional materials such as balloons and stickers
- training and nutritional advice
In return, we ask for a registration fee of £30 and a commitment to raise a minimum of £350.
You will be raising money to help struggling families benefit from a much-needed break. For many, it will be the first time they have ever spent time away from home, seen the sea or played in the sand.
If you have any queries, please email Michael Smout.
