Thames Treasure Trail

Thames Treasure Trail

*Wednesday fully booked. Last few remaining places for Tuesday available!*
Discover parts of London you never knew existed on this walking event with a twist!

SWW 2018 LogoSeven rivers flow into the Thames from the north, and seven from the south. All but the river Lea are hidden and the Fleet is the mightiest of all. It is said that ghosts mark the trail of these underground rivers; certainly, many street names reveal their presence e.g. Brook Street, Old Seacole Lane and of course Fleet Street. ‘ Hidden clues, hidden river’: follow our watery course along the route of the buried Fleet from the springs of the Clerks’ Well all the way to the Thames.

Join us on Tuesday 24 July and Wednesday 25 July outside Farringdon Station in central London location and you will be given clues and questions that will take you on a trail across the Thames, allowing you to explore parts of London you may have never seen before. Each question will lead you to the next location and thus the next clue, until you reach the finish line and prize-giving at a pub in central London where you will receive a complimentary drink. The winning team will get our treasure!

Hidden London

The quiz is specially created by our friends at the British Guild of Tourist Guides (also known as Blue Badge Guides) so you can be sure to discover fascinating gems of London’s rich history that are missed by the majority. Get your brain ticking and have a look at last year’s quiz here!

Thames Treasure Trail

The event is perfect if you live or work in London as it will take place after working hours and take about an hour to complete, followed by drinks where the winner will be announced. Create your own team of friends and colleagues (up to four maximum) or let us join you up with other quizzers on the day.

Tickets cost £60 for a team of four or individual places can be bought for £15 each and a complimentary drink is included in the price of the ticket.

This is a fantastic event to test your mind and guide you off the beaten track. Fancy your chances at winning our treasure? Come and give it a go!

All profits will go towards sending more struggling families away on breaks to provide some relief from life’s hardest challenges and create memories that will last a lifetime.
