A ‘walk on the waves’ at Weston-super-Mare

On Staurday 4 June, our walk will start at the railway station before heading for the Town Hall, Winter Gardens and Royal Crescent, then on to the seafront and its views across the two bays. A ‘walk on the waves’ over the Marine Lake causeway will bring walkers back along the seafront to the finish line.

The walk will be at a leisurely pace and is suitable for walkers of all ages. It offers plenty of opportunities to take in the beautiful seashore and local surroundings.

Start point: Weston-super-Mare railway station
Start time: 2.00pm
Approx finish time: 4.00pm

Walkers visiting Weston-super-Mare on the day can take advantage of free rail travel* on the GWR network. To arrange your return tickets, simply indicate how many you would like to apply for when booking your place. The Family Holiday Association will then get back to you with further details.

*GWR rail tickets are subject to availability and will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are valid for return travel to Weston-super-Mare on the GWR network only for Saturday 4 June only. Free GWR rail tickets can only be claimed by people registering to participate in the walk.
