The Family Holiday Association has today released a teaser video for their Christmas Advent-ures online advent calendar which starts tomorrow.
Christmas Advent-ures is the charity’s online advent calendar. Each day between the 1st and 24th December a new door will be available to open on their website to reveal a short video featuring a unique take on a scene from a Christmas movie. Each film has been acted and voiced by supporters from the travel industry and beyond.
Films featured includes classics such as Miracle on 34th Street, It’s a Wonderful Life and White Christmas, through to more contemporary offerings like Arthur Christmas, The Snowman and Die Hard (yes it is officially a Christmas film!).
As an added incentive, each clip will feature a question related to the movie, leading a daily one letter answer. Find all 24 letters, rearrange into a famous Christmas phrase and you could win a sweet and savoury Christmas hamper courtesy of Divine Chocolate and Higgidy.
Commenting on the project, the charity’s Content Executive, Coral Rushmer, said, “This is the fourth year we have created a digital advent calendar and it is our most ambitious yet! Everybody we approached to get involved embraced the concept and it has created a good deal of laughter along the way.
“We hope the videos make people smile and inspires them to make a donation this Christmas. The important message is that every pound raised will go towards helping more struggling families access a much needed and often life changing break next year. In other words, if it makes you smile, make a donation and help bring smiles to the faces of struggling families!”
