Supported charity at the Elman Wall Directors’ Summit
The Family Holiday Association are delighted to have been the supported charity at the recent Elman Wall Directors’ Summit held at the Emirates Stadium in North London.
The event is the annual gathering of Elman Wall clients and guests, inviting 200 owners and directors of UK tour operators, leading leisure retail agencies and TMCs. Attended also by the Heads of all leading trade associations, the event receives widespread acclaim and trade media coverage.
Charity ambassador Sandra Matthews-Marsh MBE (Chief Executive of Visit Kent) spoke about Visit Kent’s Big Weekend and some of the benefits derived by the families who were able to take part.
The Big Weekend is an initiative that started in Kent (now operating in Herts) and gives residents the chance to enjoy an amazing day out in their county for free. Thousands of free tickets are made available from a whole host of attractions and encourages people to get involved in attractions on their doorstep. Some of these tickets are donated to the charity for use by families that we help in the area.
At the Elman Wall Directors’ Summit, delegates were asked to make a voluntary donation, with the added incentive of being included in a prize draw to win a few nights away in the recently opened Village Nature resort near Disneyland Paris:
Discover a magical new destination only 6 km from Disneyland Paris where nature, relaxation and entertainment come together in 5 recreational worlds. Including the Aqualagon the largest indoor and outdoor water park in Europe heated naturally by geothermic energy to 30 degres, Walk in the Farmers footprints in the educational Farm Bellevie and riding stables, discover the secrets of the Forest of Legends and meet the inspirational gardeners in the Extraordinary Gardens themed around the 4 elements.
We would like to thank Pierre & Vacances for the prize above, and the channel crossing donated by P&O Cruises.
We would also like to thank Elman Wall and everybody who made a donation for their continued and generous support.
