Pie Week Competition Terms and Conditions
Pie Week competition to win Higgidy goodies!
By taking part in this free draw all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.
The Family Holiday Association is the legal promoter of this free draw.
The free draw opens at 00:01 (GMT) on Monday 2nd March 2020 and closes at 23:59 (GMT) on Sunday 8th March 2020 (the “Entry Period”). Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
The free draw is open to all United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees of the Family Holiday Association and Higgidy and their respective families who are not eligible to enter the prize draw.
The free draw can be entered by commenting on/replying to the competition post made by the Family Holiday Association, or making a post/tweet as an entry that tags the Family Holiday Association ‘@famholidayassoc’, and replaces one word of a film title with ‘pie’ (the “Entry”). Only one Entry per person will be counted for the purposes of the free draw and anyone found to use multiple accounts to enter will be ineligible. No purchase is necessary.
Participating and entering in this promotion is considered a complete release of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter by each entrant or participant. It is also an acknowledgement that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, not received, corrupted, damaged, defaced or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Inappropriate, offensive or brand damaging entries in the opinion of the Family Holiday Association shall not be accepted and shall be automatically disqualified. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
The prize is one of each flavour of the Higgidy pies, and a copy of both Higgidy cookbooks – The Higgidy Cookbook, and The Veggie Cookbook.
The prize is subject to availability and may be presented in the form of vouchers. There is no cash alternative for the prize. The prize is non-negotiable and non-transferable.
The free draw will be made on/shortly after Monday 9th March 2020. One winner will be selected at random from all entries received during the Entry Period. The winner will be contacted as soon as practicable after the free draw via private message on the social media platform they used to enter the competition by the Family Holiday Association and will be asked for their home address, which will be shared with Higgidy, to arrange delivery of the prize only. The winner will be given 5 days to respond. If the response deadline is missed, the prize may be forfeited and another winner selected.
The winner’s name can be obtained upon request in writing from the Family Holiday Association, of 3 Gainsford Street, London SE1 2NE. The winner may be required to take part in publicity associated with this free draw, which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media, including social media.
